How to Rip DVD movie and Convert video to iPod on Windows and Mac

As we know, DVD is VOB video, and DVD has CSS copyright protection. iPod supports only MP4 and H.264 video, if your video is not compatible with iPod, you can't add it into iTunes library and sync it to iPod for playback. So this step by step guide will teach you how to rip copyright DVD movie and convert any video on iPod on Windows and Mac. This guide works for all series of iPods including iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Video and iPod Classic, etc. It includes five parts as follow index:
Step2. Run the DVD to iPod Converter, insert your DVD into DVD-Rom, load the DVD movie by clicking 'Open DVD' button or choosing 'Open DVD' from 'File' drop down menu. One or several titles appear in the list.
Step3. As usual, the longest title is the main file of the movie. You can remove the title you don't like to convert by unchecking the title. Select 'Subtitle', 'Audio Languages' to what you like. For advanced setting, you can click the button next to "Profile" to open the setting panel, you can custom the video quality and audio quality here. If you don't know much about the parameter, the defauly setting is OK for you, the quality is pretty good for playback on iPod.
Step4. To 'Output Folder', Enter the full pathname or choose the path where you want to save your video files by clicking the related button. And then click 'Convert' button to start the conversion. It would take about 30 minutes to convert a regular DVD movie.
